Saskatoon poet and songwriter Jay Semko is best known for his work as bassist and vocalistwith multi-platinum JUNO Award nominees, the Northern Pikes, and as an award-winning solorecording artist and music composer for film and television. Jay will perform songs from his new album, Spiritual, from his vast solo career,and from the Northern Pikes catalogue. He will also share poems and stories from his book, The Poetry & Lyrics of Jay Semko. Joining Jay will be Randy Woods (guitar), Mike Pierce (drums), Warren Rutherford (pedal steel), and a few special guest vocalists. This evening promises to be a unique celebration with one of Canada’s finest songwriters and storytellers.
