Eric Paetkau leads the SSO in Mahler’s ethereal 4th Symphony. A work that never fails to inspire and delight, this concert marks the long awaited return of Mahler’s music to the SSO stage!
The SSO is joined by the radiant soprano Miriam Khalil. The JUNO nominated artist, Miriam Khalil has established herself as one of Canada’s most versatile and expressive performers. She has become increasingly known for her non traditional performances of opera, art song and concert repertoire.
This concert marks Eric’s last as Music Director of the SSO – holding the position the second longest in our history, Eric’s leadership and musicianship will be on full display for a performance that is sure to be one for the history books!
