The Beachside Romeos duo from Regina cover a fun and wide variety of summer pop, reggae, country beach and beyond. It's always summer with the Beachside Romeos!
The Beachside Romeos consists of two veteran musicians (Greg Mildenberger, Dale Thomas) who separately and collectively have performed in original and cover bands for several years, opening for and sharing the stage with recognized bands such as Big Sugar, Streetheart, Trooper and Honeymoon Suite.
Currently, both are members of the Regina-based band Call Me Mildy where they’ve released two albums, performed in festivals, rodeos, venues and events across Saskatchewan and have developed an extensive repertoire of rock, country, blues and reggae. In fact, music is a daily endeavor for Mildenberger and Thomas: Mildenberger is co-owner and show coordinator for the School of Rock Regina, while Thomas teaches guitar/bass and is a program leader since the school’s inception six years ago.
Drawing from their extensive musical backgrounds, the Beachside Romeos unleash a variety of summer fun songs as they delve into country beach, reggae, pop and rock with numerous surprises along the way.
Covering an eclectic range of artists, from country beach like Kenny Chesney, Old Dominion, Zac Brown Band, Jon Pardi and of course Jimmy Buffett, rock/pop summer sounds including Jason Mraz, Sublime, Magic, Jack Johnson, Kenny Loggins and the great Bob Marley, and a wide array of popular artists from the Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Rolling Stones, Prince and Nirvana to contemporary Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and The Killers, while achieving a great blend of male and female artists.
