Description

Teagan Littlechief’s gift was first discovered in preschool, when a teacher heard her voice and urged that it be nurtured with vocal training. That spark of recognition lit the way for a young girl destined for the stage. By 15, she was already turning heads—delivering Martina McBride’s A Broken Wing with such power that she won the GX94 talent contest, becoming the first Indigenous artist to claim the title.

Gifted with a powerful multi-octave range, Teagan’s voice soars with emotion and grace, matched by a commanding stage presence that owns every stage she steps onto. Her falsettos are nothing short of breathtaking—piercing, pure, and capable of stopping audiences mid-breath. Influenced by iconic vocalists such as Celine Dion and the late Selena, she has crafted a sound deeply rooted in country, while remaining distinctively her own. Each performance reflects her fearless spirit and her ability to connect, leaving listeners moved and inspired.

More than a vocalist, Teagan is a storyteller—one whose journey continues to rise on the strength of resilience, authenticity, and the fire of her craft.

New Year, New Sound From Teagan Littlechief

    January 29, 2024

Teagan Littlechief has released her first single of the year! For the first time in a long time, not only has she released to Canadian radio, but her new single is also released to international radio. The country/pop track is titled "Need You To Go".... a song near and dear to Teagan's heart. Based on Teagan's battle with addiction and domestic abuse, "Need You To Go" has a powerful country/pop sound, with spine-chilling vocals. The feedback so far has been phenomenal, with comments like "Loved Teagan's song!! In fact, I added it this morning in our Latest New Country Songs category!" -PD CJBE QC.

Not only have the comments been incredible, NYTG was on the Yangaroo top 5 most downloaded songs two days in a row and in the Top 10 Most Active Indies two weeks in a row! Teagan feels she has found her sound with her current release, and hopes her fans will not only support the track, but hear the message of hope at the core of NYTG. Available on all streaming sites.

Need You To Go was inspired by and written for Teagan's son. Written by Teagan Littlechief and Jesse Weimen, NYTG is a powerful song both in content and production.
