Description

Growing up in small town Saskatchewan, singer/songwriter Nathan John is very familiar with the local music community. Having been musically involved since his teen years, he is very particular about how his style and sound are shaped. Taking influence from City & Colour and Dustin Kensrue, Nathan Johns' dark contemplative folk style provides the listener with complex vocal arrangements accompanied by catchy acoustic riffs. His debut album "The Ensuing Madness" is a combination of songs, old and new that speaks to the wide array of human emotion, as we navigate our way through emotional existence.

The Ensuing Madness takes the listener on a journey into the dark, emotional and undeniable quest for truth so many of us live through. The album starts off the with the up beat "Show Me The Way" which calls out the importance of trust and the pain it can bring when broken. The second track "Exorcise In Futility" questions our belief of what eternal actually is. "Be Gone" speaks of the troubles of the unfortunate in today's society, and how uniting and rising above becomes most important. Throughout the album, the ups and down of the rhythmic tempos compliment the driving strumming of Nathan John's acoustic performance. Produced and Engineered by Justin Bender at Divergent Sounds, Moose Jaw SK.
