On October 2nd, Fabric and Dayda Banks will release their collaborative project "Leaving Neverland". The project was written and based around the idea that we we've all been chasing a paradise of our own in a race against the clock. We're all getting older, but many of us really don’t want to grow up. We keep evolving while maintaining a connection with our roots and original ways of thinking. Creating music at its essence is self expression in one of its purest forms. Both Fabric and Dayda are very authentic in the way they create their art, so by listening in you get a little slice of their personality and spirit which is a beautiful thing.
Leaving Neverland was produced by Fabric and written by both artists. This is Dayda’s 9th release and Fabric’s 2nd. Fabric previously released a project way back in 2012, so Leaving Neverland is a bit of a reintroduction for him. Dayda and Fabric were friends for many years before embarking on a professional project together, and so the process for them working together is very fluid and creative, and it shows. The end result is a captivating 10 song project layered with beautiful instrumentals and thought provoking lyrics. We welcome you to join us on the musical journey of Leaving Neverland October 2, 2020.

Originally slated for release in Summer 2020, Saskatchewan's Dayda Banks has scheduled his latest release to be pushed up as consecutive releases beginning on April 13th and ending midway through June. The Peter Pandemic Sessions is an 8-track project that was created in Saskatoon SK. Dayda again teams up with his close companions Trill Monroe, Dillybat and ACHEE of The Last Astronauts for help with production, engineering and graphics. However, this project has a much larger ripple effect than Dayda's usual releases as it features producers from all over the world, giving him a unique sound and a blank canvas to work with. After their video release, Yellow Bricks, earlier this month, Nolto, Dayda and Trill are set to release their 5 track collaboration EP SADS.
SADS is an experimental alt-rap project. Laced with Trill's diverse production and both Nolto and Dayda's lyrically driven songwriting, the 5 tracks are worlds apart but maintain a cohesive exploration of death, melancholy, and finite sadness, playing through seamlessly within it's 18 minute run-time. This project explores life and death in the world we live in, robots trying to steal our jobs and trying to be like Robin Hood.
SADS will be available digitally on all platforms, as well as on a very limited tape cassette, 01/03/2020.
This project was created, recorded, and mastered at The Last Astronauts studio in Saskatoon, SK.

Saskatchewan's Dayda Banks is back with a brand new song release. On October 23rd, 2019 he will be releasing his brand new single " Turn Off All the Lights".
This is a follow up collaboration between Dayda and Sask producer Trill Monroe after their July EP release of "We Should go to Japan". Trill created a simplistic acoustic style melody over boom-bap drums that Dayda rolls through from start to finish with his deep thoughtful lyricism. The verses are written with a raw emotion you can really resonate with while still finding the song very easy to listen to. The chorus is simple, catchy and effective. Turn Off All the lights is dedicated to "The blond haired green eyed girl from North Carolina". While she may be unknown, its not hard to tell how much Dayda cares for her. This song was produced at Saskatoon's Paved Arts Studio with audio engineer Dillybat Productions.
