Formed in 2015, Phoenix and the SilverVoodoos is an emerging  original indie rock band from Asquith, SK Canada.  The band consists of  frontwoman/guitarist Phoenix Christa, guitarist Roland King and drummer Linda King.   Phoenix and the SilverVoodoos' music can best be described as loud and powerful with Roland’s heavy guitar, Phoenix’s rugged vocals and her grinding guitar licks combined with Linda's engaging beats.  This band's  dark and mysterious sound is sure to please your “rocker” soul.   They have been described as having a “Black Sabbath vibe,” and have been compared to the “Runaways”.   Audience feedback declared Phoenix and The SilverVoodoos "a Rock and Roll revival"!

 Since releasing their first two live singles in 2018,  Phoenix and the SilverVoodoos have been “Ranked #1” for more than eight weeks on local NumberOneMusic and Reverbnation.  In 2019 the band released their first official single  'Slip Away,'  a Song that was recorded and mastered at Recording Arts Institute  Saskatoon (RAIS).   Watch for the release of their second single, 'The Price' on April 26th 2019.  Currently the band is working with Contrast Recording on their next two releases, coming out later this year.  They are working hard on their debut Album which is slated for release by May 2020.

  Single Release - Star Mirror (Radio Edit) - October 29, 2021

  Asquith, Saskatchewan Canada — Thursday, October 21, 2021 — Phoenix and the SilverVoodoos will be releasing their new single Star Mirror (Radio Edit) on Friday, October 29. The band is excited to bring this song to you. The band teamed up with Brian Lanese, 9x Emmy Award winning creative, International Music Producer and 1st Round Grammy Nominee from LA, as well as Matticulous Media from Saskatoon. The band loves the video that Matt created for this release.

  Phoenix and the SilverVoodoos is an independent rock band from small-town Saskatchewan.  You are going to want to listen to this rock’n female-fronted band.  The music is loud and powerful, full of grinding guitar licks, rugged vocals and with lyrics that will delight and touch your soul.

  Phoenix Christa is the creative genius behind the band.  Phoenix writes lyrics from her heart.  She writes music about her life and her experiences as she navigates through her world.  Her creativity in both music and visual art gives the band a strong presence. Watch for Phoenix and the SilverVoodoos performing in bars and clubs throughout Saskatchewan as COVID-19 restrictions lift. The band will also be heading back to the studio to complete the recording of their first album.
