The Whiskey Jerks have created their own unique niche that blends klezmer, country-blues, gypsy-folk, rock and jazz.  Comprised of the talented Anna Bekolay (violin and voice), James Diakuw (clarinet and voice), Nevin Buehler (upright bass), Peter Abonyi (guitar), Kevin Buzinski (percussion) and Gillian Snider (voice and accordion), The Whiskey Jerks offer clever lyrics infused with an honest prairie sound that will always keep the audience guessing...and dancing!

If you combine a bit of klezmer, a bit of rock, a bit of jazz-schmazz and good old-fashioned prairie gypsy folk - THEN throw some cocky lyrics and good story telling into the mix, what you get is The Whiskey Jerks debut album 'Neat.'!

Saskatoon's Whiskey Jerks give fusion another lively sound with Neat, a shotgun wedding but happy marriage of jazz, rock, blues and lots of klezmer music. This album can start and close the party, reeling and rocking all the way.

  • Run

Shot in Gillian's Living Room in 2016, Myron Glova did a great job capturing The Whiskey Jerks performing their song Run - watch for the cameo appearance of the famous 'Wall-Eyed Clyde' at the very end of the video!
