Showcase Opportunity - FOLK NORTH at Folk Alliance International 2026

MusicOntario and Folk Canada (@folk_canada) are joining forces under the FOLK NORTH banner to present three nights of private showcases at Folk Alliance International (FAI) 2026 in New Orleans. This marks their tenth year supporting Canadian artists and music businesses at the world’s largest folk industry gathering.
Canadian-based artists from all folk traditions are invited to apply. Applicants will be assessed on export readiness. Showcases are 15 minutes, with light amplification, minimal percussion, and a provided sound technician. Selected artists must register for the FAI conference, and are responsible for their own travel and visa arrangements. MusicOntario and Folk Canada members receive preferred pricing and consideration.
Eligibility:
Each performer must be registered for the FAI conference
Applicants must be residents of and based in Canada.
Selection will be based on export readiness.
