The reality for 99.9% of rock bands is not sexy at all; it’s getting paid in drink tickets, struggling to book tours, and having your jacket stolen while you’re playing a show. We wanted to write a song that actually describes being in a local band, and we snuck in as many rock and roll cliches as we could; talk box, slide guitar, vibraslap, etc." – Blu Beach Band

It reflects the raw emotion of grief and the guilt of wishing she could have done more, capturing the helplessness, love, and complexity that come with loss. The single was also released in alternate versions, including acoustic, Vietnamese, and Japanese.
