CIMA, in partnership with Manitoba Music, MusicOntario and other partners, will be conducting its sixth mission to Mexico surrounding the FIMGDL Festival and Conference. CIMA will organize a showcase and business initiative in Guadalajara from February 25-28 and will also look into organizing a pre-event in Mexico City focusing on showcasing and networking for selected participants.
FIMGDL is one of the most important music conferences in Mexico and Latin America where top emerging international artists are selected to showcase. The four-day event organizes business sessions and meetings with important players in the local, national and international music industries including guests and speakers from all Latin American countries.
This format allows CIMA's delegation to gain important information on the state of the music industry in Mexico and connect with over 1000+ professionals, primarily representatives of the independent industry.
CIMA is currently looking for artists to showcase during this mission. Companies interested in participating in the business activities without a showcasing artist are also encouraged to register. This opportunity is best suited for businesses that meet the following criteria:
- Businesses looking to enhance their contacts in Mexico in order to develop and/or further existing relationships.
- Businesses that do not currently have Mexico representation.
- Company representatives in attendance must be able to secure deals on behalf of their roster.
Please note that there is a fee to participate in this mission upon acceptance. More details will be sent if your company has been selected.
