As the Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA®) celebrates its 50th anniversary, the organization is hitting the road with the CCMA Legends Tour presented by SIGA Rewards – a multi-city Saskatchewan concert series honouring the artists, songs and stories that have shaped Canadian country music over the past five decades.
Featuring four of Canada's most celebrated country music trailblazers – Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Charlie Major, Jason McCoy, and Michelle Wright – the tour will bring fans together for an unforgettable celebration of the genre's rich legacy while building excitement for Country Music Week 2026 in Saskatoon, September 16–19.
"For 50 years, the CCMA has championed the artists and storytellers who have defined Canadian country music," said Amy Jeninga, President of the CCMA. "The CCMA Legends Tour gives fans the opportunity to celebrate some of the icons who helped build our industry while looking ahead to the next chapter. As we gather in Saskatchewan this September, we'll be honouring our past, celebrating today's artists and showcasing the future of Canadian country music."
The CCMA Legends Tour is one of several marquee events planned as part of the Association's 50th anniversary celebrations. By bringing legendary performers directly to communities across Saskatchewan, the tour creates a province-wide lead-up to Country Music Week, where fans can expect a dynamic lineup featuring both legendary and contemporary Canadian country stars, emerging talent and special anniversary programming, with additional artist announcements to be revealed in the months ahead.
The tour will culminate on September 17 with the official CCMA Legends Show presented by SIGA Rewards in Saskatoon during Country Music Week. The special event will serve as a centerpiece of the CCMA's 50th anniversary celebrations, bringing together generations of Canadian country music fans and artists for an evening that honours the genre's enduring legacy while spotlighting the voices shaping its future.
