UPDATED SaskMusic International Export Consultant Program
Working in partnership with the UK-based Enki Music, one-on-one consultations with in-market experts are now available to export-ready SaskMusic members based in Saskatchewan.
We recognize the impact that COVID-19 and the inability to tour has had on many artists' careers, and we hope through this program we can help artists who are at pivotal points in their careers to better understand their options, to workshop campaign strategies, and to develop in-market infrastructure. Artists who have previously performed internationally, or who had plans to tour internationally that were impacted by the pandemic, are encouraged to apply for a consult.

Self-Care in Surreal Times led by Amanda Scandrett
December 2, 2020 at 7pm online
In workshop #4 in our 4-part series on pandemic wellness, we will focus on Self Care in Surreal Times. The holiday season is often reason enough for self care, so as we move through these unprecedented conditions into the upcoming holiday season we all might need a bit of additional grounding and centring.
Our workshop will focus on features such as:
- What is self care, actually? (We'll go beyond chocolate and bubble baths—you might be surprised!)
- Self care & the pandemic: What even "works" anymore?
- Tips and resources for creating your own self care plan as you move through the holidays and into 2021
This workshop aims to offer a variety of experiences to tap into your inner wisdom in order to identify self care strategies that will really work for you. This workshop is part education, part meditation, and part creation. The intention is that you will leave feeling a little bit lighter and a lot more inspired by your own inner potential.

You're Invited to the Saskatchewan Music Award Nominee Announcement on November 30 at 11am
SaskMusic is excited to invite you to join us as we announce the nominees for the 2020 Saskatchewan Music Awards. This year we’ll have to do things a little differently, so we’ll be streaming on our Facebook page and YouTube channel, joined by a special musical guest.
The third annual awards will honour excellence in the Saskatchewan music industry and celebrate the achievements of our music industry members over the past year. The SMAs, and the Best Saskatchewan Albums public poll, were created to draw attention to the exceptional musical talent of our artists here at home. We believe music is more important than ever in lifting spirits. Our creators continue to create; and we want to recognize the resiliency and dedication of those continuing on with their craft, despite the enormous challenges this year has posed.

Welcome Earl Pereira to the Career Tracks Mentorship Program
Earl Pereira got his rock n’ roll pedigree as a founding member of Wide Mouth Mason, who had 3 gold records, three 3 JUNO nominations and a host of other accolades and awards. He has toured the world, playing nearly 3000 shows and opening for iconic acts such as The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, The Guess Who, Alanis Morissette, Van Morrison, The Tragically Hip, and many more. Pereira was also named one of Canada's top bassists in Canadian Musician Magazine.

Pereira has held workshops at high profile conferences such as Peak Performance Project, Song Rise Conference, and Breakout West.
