Very important: Have you taken the Music Matters survey yet?
(If yes,THANKS!! Please share with your music pals for more chances to win!)
We are aiming to capture a 'regular year' of Saskatchewan music activity as a baseline to gauge our post-pandemic recovery against. We *also* generally really need some up-to-date figures on the size and scope of our industry.
We're asking ALL those in Saskatchewan's music industry - from artists and musicians and songwriters, to music teachers, to sound techs and riggers, to music stores, venues, and festivals, and beyond, regardless of role, genre, or musical income, to participate in this survey. It's important we get real figures from the many different levels and roles of our industry to get the full picture.
If your music income or activities have been affected by the pandemic, we especially need to hear from you! Real numbers will help us advocate and inform. We will also be sharing the study results with other creative organizations, unions, and colleagues.
Please share, and help us track music's recovery through the pandemic. The deadline to take the survey has been extended to April 12.
Your privacy is guaranteed. SaskMusic has engaged Nordicity to develop this profile and economic impact assessment. All responses are confidential and anonymous. No responses will be directly attributable to you, and no third party (including SaskMusic), nor any government department, will have access to the data you provide in the survey.
PLUS those who complete this survey will have the option of being entered into prize draws for an Apple iPad Air, AirPods Pro, and gift certificates for various prizes!

"Share It" Incentive
As well as asking you to take the survey yourself, we need your help in spreading the word to your friends in the music community! Share our survey link and/or one of our social posts about it, tag SaskMusic, and use the hashtag #MusicMatters on your public post, and you'll get an entry into an extra prize draw for $500!
