Workshop

Workshop Announcement! Initiating Personal Change & Growth: "Creating in Unideal Times"

Even in these exceptional times, life is still happening all around us. We do still have goals, dreams, and ways that we want to be living our lives. When it comes to goal-setting and doing during this time, two different reactions tend to arise:

1. Push through, get it done, keep going- This reaction can easily lead to exhaustion and overwhelm in pandemic times (I bet you already knew that!) Or
2. Do nothing- While this response tends to help us rest and slow down (which we absolutely need right now!) we aren’t necessarily getting that opportunity to feel alignment or in flow.

This workshop aims to offer a variety of experiences to tap into your inner wisdom by tapping into your creative flow to start to create some movement in your life.

This is the third segment in a four part series led by Amanda Scandrett.

FACTOR

Become a FACTOR Juror!

FACTOR relies on the participation of members of the Canadian music industry to determine which eligible projects are funded under FACTOR’s Artist Development and Juried Sound Recording programs. These members are called Jurors.

Jurors are volunteers with substantial music industry experience. Their knowledge, expertise, and ability to interpret the current music landscape makes them qualified to help FACTOR assess which applications have the most potential for success within FACTOR’s mandate.

FACTOR draws on a broad and diverse range of industry professionals to help funding reach artists in every community across Canada, in a wide spectrum of genres and styles. We believe that peer evaluation ensures a fair and transparent process and promotes equal representation throughout the industry.
