Home for the Holidays 2021 Concert Submissions
Deadline November 15, 2021

SaskMusic is looking for artists to perform live-streamed concerts for the holiday season. SaskMusic member artists are invited to apply for one of the available spots to perform a concert that will be streamed live on our social media pages, via Zoom to Facebook and YouTube.

We are looking for approximately 30-40 minutes (1 set) of live music content from Saskatchewan-based artists. This may consist of solo performers, duos, or even bands, as long as you can setup a mix suitable for streaming. We'll ask you to observe any public health guidelines that could be in effect at the time of the show, if selected. We welcome holiday-themed songs, but that's not a requirement.

Selected artists will receive an honorarium of $200* and are encouraged to create a tipjar/honorarium link where fans can also donate and that we'll post with your stream.
*Honorarium would be adjusted for sets that incorporate more than one musician in the performance.

Topics of discussion may include things such as industry trends, how to market yourself as a foreign artist overseas, tour routing and festival markets, logistics, information on the publishing network, and more.

This program will be of interest to artists, bands, songwriters, and others. Spots will be provided in this intake to a range of artists, from emerging to export-ready artists.

Six music industry associations — Music BC, Alberta Music, SaskMusic, Manitoba Music, Music Nova Scotia, Music Ontario and CIMA — are working together to present two days of industry showcases and meetings in Toronto on November 15 & 16.
