AWARDS OPPORTUNITY: Hometown Hero Sound Company Nominations

AWARDS OPPORTUNITY: Hometown Hero Sound Company Nominations

Award honors the best regional sound production company in six regions across North America

Deadline: October 28, 2022

Each year, FRONT of HOUSE honors regional sound production companies with our Hometown Hero award. This award honors the best regional sound production company in six regions across North America: the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Northwest, Southwest, and Canada. This award—from nominations to winners—is selected by you, the FOH readers, because you truly know who the Hometown Heroes are in the industry.

Nominations are due by Friday, Oct. 28, at 5 p.m. PDT.

That is why, for the nominees list, we are looking for your ideas on the best regional sound production company in the U.S. and Canada. Let us know your favorites (and, yes, you CAN nominate your own company). We want to know the top companies in YOUR region. The companies that are there when you need them, the companies that go the extra mile, and the companies that you rely on for solutions.

From your nominee suggestions, 36 regional finalists will then be named. Final voting for Hometown Hero will take place Nov. 1 to Nov. 25, which will let readers narrow the 36 companies down to the final six regional winners. As finalists for the Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year Award, the names of the six regional winners will then appear on the final Parnelli Awards ballot.

Nominations are due by Friday, Oct. 28, at 5 p.m. PDT.

Parnelli voting, set for early 2023, will determine which of the six finalists will be presented with the Parnelli Award for Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year at the awards dinner set for April 14, 2023, in conjunction with the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA.
