The 20 Annual Canadian Independent Music Awards known as “The Indies” acknowledge, promote and honour the achievements of Canadian and International artists that embody the spirit of the independent music sector.
Nominees will be posted on the Indies website – www.indies.ca – with a photo, bio, audio and video link. The winners of The Indies are determined by a National Selection Jury comprised of professionals from the retail, recording, media, and live sectors.
To be considered for nomination for the 2021 Jim Beam® Indie Awards, national music release dates must fall between the eligibility period of January 1st, 2019, and January 1st, 2021. (Due to the cancellation of last year’s awards, the eligibility window has been extended.)
The deadline to apply is February 5.
