Winnipeg Folk Festival
July 11-14, 2019 in Birds Hill Provincial Park MB
Deadline: December 15, 2018
The 46th annual Winnipeg Folk Festival will be held July 11-14, 2019 at Birds Hill Provincial Park in Manitoba. Each year WFF programs 70+ artists from around globe, aiming to program a very high quality, diverse festival with many genres represented on multiple stages. The festival also programs a family area that hosts a variety of family friendly music and performances.
Planning begins annually with a priority list that far exceeds the number of artists that they can realistically program, and throughout the process they discover more amazing music by keeping their ears and eyes open, attending shows, other festivals and conferences, and talking to colleagues. In addition, a small number of acts are booked through unsolicited submissions each year.
If you wish to be considered for this year's Festival, please send a short email to firstname.lastname@example.org introducing yourself, including current live performance video, and at least 2 web links, such as your website, SoundCloud, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
