Symphony Of Chemistry

Farideh

2009

“Symphony of Chemistry, the sophomore album from Farideh, is a quintessential evolution of her unique style, fusing elements of bluegrass, pop and folk. Completing the album proved to be an epic struggle. Recorded in the small Saskatchewan village of Ruddell, the completion of the project involved everything from impromptu renovations to a power source MacGyvered from a car battery and vintage surge protector. Collaborations on the album include: Byron Olsen (Farideh's father), Sarah Griffith (trombone), Pete Laflamme (bass), Don Tatchell (drums) and Robin Wilson (cello).

Produced by: Farideh and Byron Olsen
Recorded at: Studio Ruddell, PM Recording Studios (cello and trumpet) (Saskatoon)
