Regina local band teedream will be releasing their debut album on Sunday, May 2. The album is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich of dreamy sounds with it's harsh moments. Album will be available on all streaming services. Since Calgary is deep rooted in alternative and shoegaze influences. Bands such as Alexisonfire, Weezer, Weed, Turnover, Grovner and Surf Dads made a huge impact on how I wanted to sound. I always wanted to encompass a dreamy wasteland with some harsh edges found within. Since Calgary is most importantly a closure of a character that needs to only exist in the past. It was an outlet for moving forward from a the ending of a beautiful but flawed friendship, and it brings the emotions with it. It holds parts of me that I am forever thankful, remorseful and reflective of. It is a collection of thoughts from my highest and my darkest.
