SaskMusic is pleased to present events in Saskatchewan on March 7-8, 2020 in celebration of International Women's Day, and with support from The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings (FACTOR Canada.) Similar events are being coordinated by music industry associations across Canada.
We are seeking submissions from Saskatchewan-based original artists and bands interested in performing at one of our concerts. Artists will be paid, at minimum, union scale for their performance. Ticket prices and donations at the door will be going to local women's charities.
Concerts will be held on the evening of Saturday March 7 (with one exception, on Sunday March 8).
We are looking for a variety of artists, from solo artists to full bands. (Please see submission form for more details.) In general, these are seated listening rooms. For full bands we'll be looking for artists who can adapt their performance to a low-volume/acoustic/stripped down style. We intend to program 3-5 artists at each concert.
