January 29, TORONTO — The nominees for the 48th Annual JUNO Awards were announced today by The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) at a press conference attended by media and industry notables at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre (CBC), in downtown Toronto. JUNO Week 2019, hosted in London, ON, will culminate with Canada’s biggest night in music – The 2019 JUNO Awards – broadcast live on Sunday, March 17 on CBC, CBC Radio One, CBC Music the free CBC Gem streaming service in Canada, and globally at cbcmusic.ca/junos.

The 48th annual JUNO Awards and JUNO Week 2019 will be hosted in London ON March 11-17, 2019, culminating in The JUNO Awards, on Sunday, March 17.

This is Jess' fourth nomination in this category; she received the JUNO in 2017 for her album "Kiss Me Quiet." She was additionally nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, 2015. - Megan Nash, "Seeker" - Contemporary Roots Album of the Year
This is Megan's first JUNO nomination. - The Deep Dark Woods, "Yarrow" - Contemporary Roots Album of the Year
This is the DDWs third nomination; they've been nominated twice for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year: Group. - The Sheepdogs, Group of the Year, and "Changing Colours" Rock Album of the Year
These are the 8th and 9th JUNO nominations for the group; they've received 3 JUNOs to date - New Group of the Year, Rock Album of the Year (Learn & Burn) and Single of the Year (I Don't Know), all in 2012.
