Reviver Records artist Tenille Arts took some time off her radio tour last week to head home to Weyburn, Saskatchewan to spend time with family and perform at the Night Out for Cystic Fibrosis. Over $22,000 was rasied at the 10th annual event, and Tenille has been involved with the Night Out fundraising events for all 10. She recorded the hit song "Breathe" in 2015, with all proceeds raised through the single benefiting CF Canada.

"I think when I came to the first event and I learned so much about Cystic Fibrosis I started thinking about own life and my siblings and how much something like that would affect our lives," Tenille shared with DiscoverWeyburn.com. "Not only would it be horrible to have a sibling have this disease, for me, I probably wouldn't be able to do what I'm doing with my life right now if I had Cystic Fibrosis."

Spending time on the family farm always includes a few chores and getting your hands dirty, and Tenille did just that planting 360 flowers for her grandmother. “When your grandma tells you to plant 360 flowers, you don’t question her sanity, you just plant the flowers!”

The last time Tenille was in her home province in May, she brought home five Saskatchewan Country Music Awards including Female Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Album or EP of the Year, Video of the Year and Single of the Year.

She is back in the US this week visiting radio stations throughout the Southwest before returning to Nashville for a special performance at the famous Wildhorse Saloon from 4:45-5:15 p.m. on Sunday, the final day of the CMA Music Festival.

The 23-year-old behind all of this recent attention is quietly confident country music lover raised in the small prairie town of Weyburn, Saskatchewan. She picked up the guitar and penned her first song at the age of 13 and has been performing across the US and Canada ever since. She made the move to Nashville almost three years ago, and a songwriting session brought her to the attention of award-winning producer Matt Rovey (Craig Campbell, Dean Brody), songwriter/producer Adam Wheeler and Noble Vision head Hal Oven.

Tenille's music has tallied over five million streams. Her debut EP peaked at #1 on the iTunes Canada Country Album Chart and #37 on the iTunes U.S. Country Album Chart. Her first full-length album, Rebel Child, reached #2 on the iTunes Canada Country Album Chart and #16 on the iTunes U.S Country Album Chart.

The "Cold Feet" single so moved noted music critic Tom Roland that he penned a rare full-page feature about the recording in the Billboard Country Update. Music Row Magazine critic Robert K. Oermann called Tenille "Promising in the extreme." Streaming giant Pandora named her one of their new artists to watch for 2017, saying, "with songwriting inspired by Don Henley and reminiscent of early Taylor Swift, and vocals the size of her native Canada, Arts' future is bright." Popular country website whiskeyriff.com labeled Tenille a "new country artist name you need to know immediately," and PopCulture.com named her one of their "Country Artists to Watch in 2018."
