Kris Klyne Music and 21st Street Brewery to Release Music and Beer in Solidarity for your Saskatoon Public Library

On May 12, 2017, Saskatoon musician Kris Klyne and 21st Street Brewery at Winston’s English Pub & Grill are hosting a Beer and Music release (both titled “Solidarity”) with a portion of sales going to help Saskatoon Public Library’s STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) literacy initiatives.

The event will take place on May 12, 2017 from 5:00pm -7:00pm at Winston’s English Pub and Grill located at 243 21st East, Saskatoon. Kris Klyne will perform his new single “Solidarity” and two other original songs at 6:00pm. There is no cost for admission.

This collaboration is a marriage of local art, craft, and business in support of our library hub that facilitates community building, learning, and expression across a broad spectrum of disciplines. We consider the library to be an essential community service and would like to show our support by donating funds to help in the delivery of community programs. Two dollars from every growler fill and one dollar from every pint of “Solidarity” beer sold will be donated to the library. A free “Solidarity” song download card will be available to the first 100 guests who purchase the beer or donate to the library.

We invite all craft beer lovers, rock music fans and friends to come join us!

“Solidarity” is a beer song written by Saskatoon artist Kris Klyne that highlights the unification of people for life, music and craft beer in the spirit of celebration and positive assembly.  The new single will be available for digital download on May 12, 2017 through major online music retailers.

21st Street Brewery’s “Solidarity” beer is a West Coast Session Red available for growler fills or direct enjoyment at Winston’s English Pub & Grill.

The Saskatoon Public Library’s STEM/STEAM programming provides learning opportunities for citizens and youth in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math literacy.
