The Regina Folk Festival announces today that the performance by Cooder, White & Skaggs scheduled for Aug. 5th to 7th, 2016 has been cancelled because of scheduling problems with Ry Cooder.
"All of us at the RFF are very disappointed in this cancellation and we know that many fans were looking forward to experiencing the collective talents of Ry Cooder, Ricky Skaggs and Sharon White at this year's festival. We know that no musician makes the decision to cancel a tour lightly," said Regina Folk Festival Artistic Director & CEO Sandra Butel, "and we wish all the best to Ry Cooder in the future. Fans can rest assured that I'm working hard to come up with a suitable plan B and that we will have an amazing show for you on August 5th to 7th in Victoria Park."
