Also to be awarded during the SCMA Awards Gala is the SCMA Legends & Legacy Award. Freddie Pelletier of Birch Hills will receive this award. Freddie has played music professionally since 1969. He played guitar for Ferlin Husky and toured extensively with singer-songwriter, Ian Tyson. Freddie has been an inspiration to many Saskatchewan artists and is very deserving of this award.
The winners will be announced at the SCMA Industry Brunch on Saturday, Apr. 23 and the SCMA Awards Gala on Saturday, Apr. 23, both at TCU Place in Saskatoon, Sask.
