SaskMusic congratulates the Saskatchewan nominees for the 2014 Western Canadian Music Awards. We are pleased to see a diverse range of genres recognized, with both first-time nominees and returning nominees.

Breakout West and the Western Canadian Music Awards will be held October 2-5 in Winnipeg MB and promises to be an exciting event of national and international significance. The industry awards will be presented on Saturday, October 4 and the artistic awards will be presented on Sunday, October 5.

The four-day event encompasses a three-day music conference, a multi-genre music festival, and two award shows (the Western Canadian Music Industry Awards Brunch and the Western Canadian Music Awards Gala). The final jury and membership voting will begin soon, with members of the six western music industry associations eligible to vote: SaskMusic, MusicBC, Alberta Music, Manitoba Music, Music NWT and Music Yukon.

SaskMusic congratulates all of the nominees and is looking forward to a great event in Winnipeg. The complete list of 2014 nominees is available at www.breakoutwest.ca.
