Description

Affinity Place is a Multi-Purpose Entertainment and Sports Facility located in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is owned and operated by the City of Estevan Leisure Services Division.

Affinity Place opened its doors April 15, 2011 with an official Grand Opening event featuring Tom Cochrane and Kim Mitchell. Affinity Place opened after two years of construction. Individuals and businesses from throughout Estevan and area showed their support behind the facility by raising $8 million of the $22 million total cost.

Affinity Place was built to supplement the two other aging ice surfaces in Estevan (Civic Auditorium & Lignite Miners Centre). Estevan and area have seen a population boom in population, so a third ice surface/events centre was needed.

Home to the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, the facility also hosts concerts, trade shows, mixed martial arts, hockey, meetings, banquets and other large events.
