Curtis has been playing drums since the young age of 11, and has studied a wide variety of musical styles during this time. Curtis is a member of the Saskatchewan Rider Pepsi Drumline and won the Rookie of the Year award in 2016. During his high school years, Curtis was the lead drummer for his high school choral program, and high school rock band. He has also been a participant with Long & McQuade's Rock Band program for 4 years with his band Jaded Wave. He has performed at the Exchange with these groups several times. Curtis enjoys playing many different styles of music ranging from basic drum rudiments, to rock, metal, pop techniques, and is willing to learn more.
