Friends of Foes hit their listeners with a roaring wall of sonic talent. From soft, gentle melodies to full on audio assaults, the heavy drum lines and harmony-laden choruses mix musical finesse with raw power. Following the band’s 2013 debut release “Chronophobic” and subsequent 2014 single “Winter,” Faults was recorded by longtime collaborator Jordan Smith as well as co-produced by Smith and FOF guitarist Matt Stinn. “Faults” marks a turning point in the maturity of the band’s writing and lyrical content, as well as a shift from stripped indie-pop to a fuller and more atmospheric sound. Recorded at: Sun Temple Studios, Colonsay. Produced by: Jordan Smith and Matt Stinn.
