Kenosee Lake KIDS' Kitchen Party.... no parents allowed!! Finally: a camp where children can go and learn MUSIC and ART in a fun-filled and safe environment! If you're between the ages of 9 - 12, we have the music camp for you!! Located in the Moose Mountain Provincial park, just 2 hours South-east of Regina, we boast a great facility and fabulous food! All the camp counsellors who supervise the cabins are musicians.... all the teachers are young and hip musicians who have already started performing and teaching and the whole camp is supervised by Professional Musicians Michele Amy, Gordon Stobbe and Shamma Sabir who are there to teach, lead, motivate and facilitate some excellent music learning! In a special treat, Marlene York from Nova Scotia is a professional artist who will lead the children through art expression and creation in this natural environment. Music is paired up with fun activities like canoeing, swimming, paddle-boating, rock-climbing, campfires, dancing, wilderness games and hikes through the forest, cabin performances, open mic times to create 3 days of FUN. Registration for 3 full days of camp is $300, and includes the following: All meals and accommodations, full supervision for the camp, music instruction in either fiddle or guitar, Art instruction and supplies, a camp T-shirt, water-bottle and tote-bag, and a performance CD to take home!
