Description
SMEA is a non-profit cultural association that was incorporated in 1957. It acts as the voice for music educators, music directors and performers in Saskatchewan. SMEA is committed to supporting music education in the province and is recognized as the “Professional Development Network” for music education by the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation.
Mission Statement:
To promote the development of high standards of music and music education.
To exchange information and ideas with those interested in music.
To sponsor conventions, workshops, clinics and other means of musical development,information and education.
