SKArts Micro-Grant Program Recipient
December 5, 2023
Melodie Gliem was a Recipient of the SKArts Micro-Grant Program. This offset the cost of travel to attend the inaugural history making Saskatchewan Indigenous Music Awards in Prince Albert. Melodie Gliem was a Nominee in two Categories, Rock/Heavy Metal/Rap person of the Year and Fan Choice Entertainer of the Year.

"I’m always writing songs if I’m not performing, singing or recording it. I love to write and create original music, whether it's just me and my guitar in the quiet realms, or in front of an audience. For my music, I draw upon subjects such as dreams and the strength of the human spirit to endure. I use a lot of metaphors inspired by Nature.
