The Saskatoon hip-hop artist (aka Curtis Dengler) presents a full-length on his own BookShelf Records label. Dengler got into hip-hop music at a very young age with his main inspiration being two heavyweight MCs, Tupac & Eminem. Listeners can hear the influence of these two greats in his lyrical style and content; the struggle to stay positive and motivated in a dark world. Dengler has worked with the Canadian Mental Health Association and other charities, giving workshops for at-risk youth and using hip-hop to inspire.
