Ursa is the ambient electronic solo project of The Garrys’ Lenore Maier. Her works sway between drone and dream, between sound effect and musical sound. Her music is meditative, dark, bare and beautiful. This debut full-length album has a heartbeat that navigates effortlessly between consciousness and liminal dream state, fully exploring the temporal spectrum. Maier creates electronic, ambient pieces that are as elegant as they are experimental. Programmed synths and pulsating notes pull the listener into a state of calm where the space between is as important as the faint rhythms and drones. Recorded at: home studio, Manitou Beach.
