When

  • May 19, 2015

Due to popular demand, the Creative City Centre is adding an evening version of this program, to be held on Tuesday evenings from 7 pm to 9:30 pm.

This ten-week course (beginning May 19 at 7 pm) will introduce participants to general concepts in non-profit organization administration, including the process of managing and marketing non-profit organizations, examining models for financing organizations, and board governance. While the primary focus of this program is on arts and creative industry organizations, the concepts align across all types of non-profit organizational management.

Who should take this course: This course has been taught at the University of Regina since 2009. It is a valuable program for anyone who is interested in employment in the non-profit arts and culture sector. If you are already employed in the non-profit sector, this course can help you understand the dynamics of managing a non-profit organization, the relationship between board and staff, the process of strategic planning, and financial planning and controls. If you are not sure if this course is right for you, please give them a call to discuss at 306.546.5565.
