As part of our Canadian Songwriter Challenge in partnership with Bell Media and The Canadian Council of Music Industry Associations, we will be joined by Re:Sound's Licensing Account Representative, Emma Julien to lead us through an informative session on Re:Sound and how they help artists maximize their potential earnings. This session is FREE and open to everyone.

Re:Sound is the Canadian not-for-profit music licensing company dedicated to obtaining fair compensation for artists and record companies for their performance rights. They advocate for music creators, educate music users, license businesses and distribute royalties to creators – all to help build a thriving and sustainable music industry in Canada. This session will provide an overview of the organization and discuss how they collect and distribute royalties to rights holders.

Emma will be joining us from Toronto through an interactive webinar. Participants can join remotely from their computers/smartphones/tablets, or are welcome to join us in person at the Recording Arts Institute of Saskatoon (RAIS) to watch along with the CSC group. Please register in advance.
