One of the most respected veterans of Canada’s blues-rock guitar scene, Toney Springer nurses a passion for blues, reggae, jazz, and rock that comes through in the original inventions of his power trio, Wild T & The Spirit. Since moving to Toronto from Trinidad in the 80s, Toney has been busy. He’s been a Hendrix clone, played with Carole Pope and Rough Trade, toured as the Canadian opener for Bon Jovi, recorded with David Bowie (Black Tie White Noise), and released 6 critically acclaimed albums as Wild T & the Spirit.
Special guests the Blue Mules play the opening set.
