Originally from Amsterdam, pianist and composer Marius Van Den Brink now calls New York home. He has performed and recorded with such well-known artists as Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts, Joel Frahm, Ingrid Jensen, and the Birdland Big Band. As a leader and sideman Marius has performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival and such iconic New York jazz clubs as Birdland, Smalls, Dizzy’s, and Mezzrow. Accompanied by Paul Johnson (bass) and Andre White (drums), Marius will be releasing his latest recording, New York Knock.
