Live music lovers in Saskatoon will soon have a new place to satisfy their hunger for intimate musical performances with today’s announcement that Saskatchewan HomeGrown, a live music series started in 2017 that was suspended due to the pandemic, will return to Saskatoon on December 10th with a matinee performance at the Studio 12 Stage in Saskatoon.
The new venue, the Studio 12 Stage owned by musician and educator Michael Lander, promises to be unique with Lander’s attention to acoustic design and modern technology.
The series will be hosted by singer-songwriter Joe Callahan who produced numerous live music shows that were recorded for broadcast in Ontario before he moved to Saskatoon. Saskatchewan HomeGrown is anticipated to become a radio show broadcast on CFCR 90.5FM, Saskatoon’s community radio station.
