An old-time band with serious bluegrass credentials, The Lonesome Ace Stringband is lost in the weird and wonderful traditional country music world of the American South. Featuring Chris Coole (banjo), John Showman (fiddle), and Max Malone (bass), the LAS are journeyman veterans of Canada's roots music scene with all three recognized as great players and as compelling lead singers, each with their own character and range. Currently putting the finishing touches on the trio’s sixth album, the Lonesome Ace Stringband is looking forward to a fall tour of Western Canada.
