The Cecilian Chamber Series presents the first concert in the 23/24 season, Virtuoso Violins.
The renowned Canadian/American violinists Timothy and Nikki Chooi return to Regina to open the 13th season of the Cecilian Chamber Series. These decorated virtuosos are among the most talented Canadian siblings in the classical music arena. With a combined experience of over two decades of performing in prestigious venues around the world, Timothy and Nikki Chooi are known for their impeccable technique, musicality, and engaging stage presence. Their repertoire spans from classical masterpieces to contemporary works with their partnership as siblings creating a unique synergy that captivates audiences.
The Chooi’s will demonstrate their technical brilliance, musical sensitivity, and deep passion for the art of the violin, performing works by Kreisler, Corigniano Prokofiev and Shostakovich. They will be joined by Susanne Ruberg-Gordon at the piano.
