Following the release of two projects in 2023 Declan Hewitt (me, lol hi) was itching to create a night of live music that would really encapsulate the vibe he has been inching towards.

Join the homey Fadadance studio for this comfy, chill, dimly lit night of music that will surely have you thinking about lyrics and humming on the way out.

Old Friends, new friends, local vets, all in the place that started my creative journey.

THE (DREAM) LINEUP

Zenaya Semple

is a singer-songwriter from Regina, Saskatchewan who was thrust into the world of music not long after her birth, performing alongside her family band, The Gene Pool. Growing up surrounded by music, it didn’t take long for Zenaya to start writing and developing her own unique sound by playing music with her friends throughout highschool and beyond.

In 2021 Zenaya decided to take her dreamlike and melodic songwriting out of her bedroom and onto the stage. Since then, she has graced stages across Western Canada with notable performances at Regina Cathedral Village Arts Festival and Winnipeg Folk Fest Young Performers Program. Zenaya’s supple and comforting tunes, paired with her surprisingly witty banter make for a show you won’t want to miss.

Declan Hewitt

Is a multi disciplinary artist born and raised in Regina. Hewitt started dancing before finding musical theatre in his early teens. This would garner him a vast resume with almost all of Regina's community theatre organizations as well as multiple national and provincial music festival awards before attending Sheridan Collage in Oakville Ontario for musical theatre. This is where he would start re-exploring his writing. In 2023 Declan released two projects (Hot shit: live demos and Fingers crossed) to push himself to continue to create, and find faith in what can be uncertain. In that regard Declan finds the most solace in performing his work live and is eager to play his songs live for his first ever home town crowd.

Keiffer McLean

is a singer-songwriter and frontman for “Keiffer McLean & The Curiosity Club”, a band that has been active since 2012. McLean’s work has garnered him nominations for two Canadian Folk Music Awards and one IMA (Independent Music Awards).

Keiffer’s original music has taken him and his band on tours across Canada and the United States, where they have showcased their unique sound at various high-profile festivals and showcases, including FAI (Folk Alliance International), Canadian Music Week, Junofest, and more.

Often referred to as “freak folk” or “progressive indie,” Keiffer’s music is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional banter and songwriting while still maintaining a sense of familiarity. Keiffer has been working on his highly anticipated second full-length album, “It’s Bees for Dinner,” set for release in late fall 2023.
