Connor Hewson, a singer-songwriter from Regina, Saskatchewan, is passionate about writing
guitar music and song lyrics. He especially enjoys collaborating with his musician friends to take his tunes to the next level, transforming them from soft foot taps to engaging, loud foot taps. The musicians taking the stage on June 9th include Brad Vance (bass), Catherine Folstad (cello), Michael Fry (violin), Megan Hewson (vocals), and Jayson Brinkworth (drums).
Over the past few years, the group has achieved notable success. They have been featured on CBC Saskatchewan Radio One, were finalists for the Yangaroo DMDS Indie Spotlight Contest, and performed at local events like the Cathedral Arts Festival and SaskMusic Home for the Holidays Concert. The group has also released two singles, Glide and Flow and is set to launch its debut EP on June 2nd, 2023.
MEG HEWSON
Megan Hewson is a talented folk singer-songwriter currently situated in Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan. Over the past few years, Megan has been working closely with the band Connor & the Musicians, contributing her soulful vocals to their recordings and live performances.
Now, Megan is branching out on her own, focusing on her solo work and taking her music in
new and exciting directions. With a handful of original songs under her belt, she is currently in
the process of polishing up her material for recording in the studio with the talented Brad
Prosko Production team.
