For three days in August the Waskesiu Lakeside Festival brings family friendly activities to the community of Waskesiu Lake, Saskatchewan. Ignite your senses with live music, paddling demonstrations, food vendors, interactive programs, and a pancake breakfast.
Located within Prince Albert National Park, the community of Waskesiu Lake provides the perfect location to relax and enjoy a weekend festival. Here you can find all the amenities of a small town in the beauty of the boreal forest; a number of accommodations, restaurants, retailers, campsites, and trails can be found within walking distance of the festival site allowing you to stay and play your way.
Beyond the townsite you can explore the nearly 4,000 square kilometres that make up Prince Albert National Park. Hike or bike over 130km of trails, rent watercraft to explore the vast lakes and rivers, or soak up the sun at one of the sandy beaches.
