This show is made up of 3 of the most consistent and visible music acts this province has to offer.  After months of devastating shut down for the music industry during the Covid 19 pandemic,  many conversations with  MLAs, ministers, compiling impact statements, media attention and working with the Saskatchewan government to allow artists to work and venues to open safely,  these great and diverse Saskatchewan artists have come together for a top shelf acoustic evening .

This evening will showcase soulful and notable songwriting, vocals, musicianship  and performances of  Saskatchewan’s well known, awarded and working professionals artists: Chris Henderson , Heidi Munro, Scott Patrick and Jack Semple.

Chris Henderson

Chris Henderson’s blend of a modern country sound, with traditional roots has made him one of Canada’s busiest Country Recording Artists. Since his debut release in 2008, the former high school teacher has been touring relentlessly, releasing 16 singles to National Radio, including “My Regret” (#47), “Don’t Miss Your Kiss Goodbye” (#47), and more.

The three-time SCMA Male of Artist of the Year (2018-20) has released four studio albums, including his latest from October of 2019, “Point Of View."

Munro & Patrick

With countless accolades and reputations as two of the hardest working artists to come out of Saskatchewan, Heidi Munro and Scott Patrick have quickly gained notoriety throughout this province as “the dynamic duo”with a nomination for Group / Duo of the Year for the SCMAs.

After working in many solo projects and bands over decades in the industry, this partnership has created performances and original songs that are fresh, soulful, edgy, polished and real. Individually, Heidi and Scott are both multiple awarded artists, on  a provincial and national level.

With Heidi having a lengthy, successful and well known working career as solo artist, and producer of great performances , and Scott gaining notoriety as a founding member, lead vocalist, guitar player and songwriter for the very notable Canadian country rock group Wyatt, their history is that of great and consistent artists. Decades of experience on countless stages big and small , studio and freelance work,  numerous awards, as well as songwriting, have all contributed to their polished emotional vocals, and stage chemistry as a duo.

Munro & Patrick have recently released 2 live off the floor music videos: "Give Up or Give In" and  "Safe." The video for “ Alive” is to be released fall of 2020 .

Jack Semple

From Regina Saskatchewan, Semple has played from Vancouver to Montreux, has worked for CBC radio and TV, won a Juno award, and shared the stage with a wide range of top artists, from Martha Reeves to k.d. lang. He was the 1992 national winner of the Much Music "Guitar Wars". Now, if you can't get to see him perform near you then I highly recommend getting a copy of his most recent CD release entitled "In the Blue Light".

Discover for yourself the treasure called Jack Semple!

This concert is sure to be a feel good, moving celebration of the music arts, and what a necessary fabric it is to the people of Saskatchewan.
