Danielle Dayton Music

Edmonton based artist Danielle Dayton has a natural flair for blues and soul. Her 2017 EP "Run" was nominated for a 2018 Edmonton music award, and is available on all streaming platforms. Danielle returned from the 20 date "Run" Across Canada Tour in support of her new single "Spider Blues” in October 2019. She will be releasing her new single “Lady Luck” and hitting the road with her band in March of 2020 to tour in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

“Albertan Danielle Dayton has described herself as a "Millennium blues artist," and her sound lives up to every connotation that term has. Bluesy with a modern sensibility and a knack for lyrics that paint vignettes as vivid as an Instagram story.”

The Whiskey Jerks

Playing venues and festivals from Vancouver to Ottawa, along with regular rotation on CBC, CKUA, CFCR and numerous other community radio stations across Canada, the U.S and Europe, The Whiskey Jerks’ sound is rife with originality, sweet vocal blends, and a distinct whiskey-soaked sensibility!

The Whiskey Jerks came together when Gillian Snider, who no longer wanted to drink alone, felt it was time to expand upon her one woman accordiana show. After convincing the talented Anna Bekolay (violin), James Diakuw (clarinet), Nevin Buehler (upright bass), Peter Abonyi (guitar) and Aidan Weiman (drums) to join her on her misadventure, The Whiskey Jerks soon began to create their own distinct niche, blending klezmer, rock, gypsy-folk and jazz with clever lyrics, stories, and an honest prairie sound. They now have two full-length albums under their belt for your listening pleasure: Neat (2014) and Baba Was A Bootlegger (2018).
