Local flamenco ensemble Flamenco Borealis returns with a new production that celebrates solitude, fate, friendship, desire, freedom, and lightness of being. Alas travels through the landscape of human emotion on the wings of soaring vocals and sweeping braceo (arm movements). Featuring piano, guitar, percussion, vocals, and dance, Alas will be the opening performance of this year’s Borealis Flamenco Festival.
