West coast pianist and composer Sharon Minemoto’s latest album, Safe Travels, is dedicated to the memory of her long-time life partner, jazz saxophonist and pianist Ross Taggart, who lost his battle with renal cancer in 2013. A celebration of Taggart’s life, his sense of humour, and his outstanding musicianship, the music ranges from bluesy to funky and from modern to classical. Sharon will be joined by Jon Bentley (saxophone), Adam Thomas (bass), and Bernie Arai (drums).
